This ceramic sharpening stone allows Kai to sharpen your knives according to Japanese tradition and finely polish them.
Specially designed to maintain high-end knives Kai or other brands,true to its reputation Kai presents here an excellent 2 grain stone. The orange face is a surface lined with large 300 grains to restore the edge of the blade during the first sharpening while the blue face is fine grain 1000 to sharpen the blade a second time in order to refine the accuracy.
Remember to soak your stone for 10 to 15 minutes in water to make sharpening easier.

This two-sided sharpening stone is very effective at sharpening your blades! The sharpening is certainly longer than with an electric sharpener but it allows to obtain an absolutely perfect sharpening.
