This professional sharpener Arcos will allow you to maintain your knives to ensure a flawless cutting edge. Thanks to this sharpener you will be able to sharpen and profile all your knives with smooth or microdenated blades. First, you have to sharpen to remove a thin part of the metal on the wire of the blade, so you will get a uniform and smooth surface. Then the objective of profiling will be to redraw the small teeth on the wire of the knife, to find the original edge.
It sharpens without heating the blade and without risking scratching it.
The simple method to sharpen your knives with a professional manual sharpener:

The principle is very easy, just position the blade of the knife in the angle open by the stems and drag it along them. When the stems are in a stop, apply a little pressure and pull the knife back. |

If your knife is very worn, tilt the tip of the knife downwards and slide the knife from the handle to the tip with a slight downward pressure. Repeat this movement until you get the desired sharpening. |

If you want a fine sharpening,you will have to perform the same method but reverse the position of the knife with the tip tilted upwards. |
 |
Finally, for beaded/toothed wire knives, as for fine sharpening, position the tip upwards and slide with lateral pressure towards the blade beading. |

Bonjour, Merci pour votre avis sur ce produit. C'est un aiguiseur de qualité Arcos. La qualité n'a rien à voir avec certains produits qui paraissent semblables au premier abord. Au niveau du prix, je pense que nous sommes pour ce produit le moins cher sur internet. Excellente journée, Christophe

Bonjour, Merci pour votre avis même si celui-ci n'est pas très positif. Les photos sont celles fournies par le fabricant. Même si ces photos sont de qualité,il est effectivement, difficile de se faire une idée des dimensions du produit. Par contre, tous les détails du produits ainsi que les dimensions de celui-ci sont clairement indiqués sur la page. Plusieurs centaines de clients ont achetés ce produit et nous n'avons jamais eu de remarque concernant la dimension. Nous allons photographier des images supplémentaires afin que ce problème n'arrive plus. Merci encore pour votre remarque ;-) Excellente journée, Christophe
